Privacy Policy

The app does not require an account and has no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other contact information in order to use it.

My Time Tracker has no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind. The app makes no network requests to any server operated by Gold Bits. Your activities, time entries, goals, notes and hourly rates are stored locally on your device.

If iCloud is enabled on your device, your data syncs through your own private CloudKit database, which is controlled by your Apple ID and encrypted by Apple. Gold Bits has no access to it and cannot read it. Sync is free and is never paywalled.

If you set up automatic tracking for a place, the app asks for location access so iOS can start and stop a timer when you arrive or leave. Location monitoring is handled by iOS on your device. Your coordinates are never transmitted anywhere and are not stored beyond the place you defined. You can turn this off at any time in iPhone Settings.

If you enable the calendar overlay, the app reads events from your local calendars so you can convert them into time entries in one tap. Calendar data is read on your device only, is never transmitted, and the app never writes to or deletes your events.

If you enable Health import, the app reads sleep sessions and workouts so they can appear as time entries. This is read-only: nothing is ever written back to Health, and health data never leaves your device.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Your Pro entitlement is verified on device against Apple's receipt. We never see your name or payment details, and we operate no purchase server.

CSV import reads a file you pick, and CSV or PDF export writes a file you then choose what to do with. Both run entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and we never see the contents.

Deleting an entry or activity in the app removes it. Deleting the app removes its local data. iCloud data can be removed through your device's iCloud storage settings. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

My Time Tracker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. As stated above, we do not collect information from anyone.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version at this URL with a new effective date.
